Okay... I've been at this writing thing for three months and I would like a 90-day evaluation from you guys. The reviews are at cinephiliacs.com and I would like to hear what you like, what you don't like, if you have any questions for me or any suggestions you might have. I am open to anything you might have to say but if you start a flame war I'm going to ignore you. I'd like, and I know Omega does, too, constructive comments so that the website can be bettered from my end.

i've read about 4 of them and while it's well written, it seems like you're ticking boxes and trying to be objective when good reviews tend to be more subjective....

take the dark knight review...it's more a case of

story good?....check
actors good?....check
visuals good?...check
oscars potential?...affirmative

i can't monitor the traffic that the front page gets though so i don't know what benefit the forums are getting from it...although the numbers of genuine new members in 3 months has been...5...and the no of new posts has been...3

I am working on trying to be less rigid with the structure, but I guess of part of that is just my personality. My new review of Vicky Cristina Barcelona, I think, is a little more free-flowing and I think it's a good one, myself.
