I always wondered what makes a film a good one

Director, Script writer, Storyboarder, Producers, Cast .............etc. all mixed in a blender can give a result from 1 to 100.

I just cannot stop wondering how the chemistry between all them either leaves a ****ty impression or a marvellous impression
the anomaly
scorcese...deniro...pesci

a classic blend that cant be beat

peter jackson...midgets....wizards

a combination that makes me "blow chunks"

The first time i see a movie its because i see a Name and the Poster. In the case of:

Alien

? whats that supposed to mean?
A cracked egg with green glowing slime excerting out.
A black background
Tag Line: IN SPACE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM

and then we see who the cast is. Now a the protagonist does not have to be a known actor to make a movie top the Box Office Hits. Signourey Weaver was not known before Alien and yet it was a success. Nor was the Director Ridley Scott. He was still a novice in that field as his only previous film was The Duellists which had a great picture for a low budget movie.

WHY ?
Daytrip
directing obviously plays a huge role. the proper look is very important. but the script is usually what wins me over. i'm dialogue driven, even though it may not seem like it. actors obviously are important, their skill not their name

i believe that the script and the directing have to be good in order to make that movie good. you cannot have a good movie when the story and the script sucks and only the directing and cinimetography to entertain you(with the exeption of THE CELL which had a sucky script but it was very entertaining to just watch!)

and if you have an excellent script you half to have good actors to pull the script off. a beautiful script can be easily corrupted by a horrible actor or actress. i mainly judge on the acting and directing. i rarely enjoy a movie because of the script(unless the movie lacks suspense or action or violence. then i would rely on a script to carry me through).
Pennywise
It would have to be directed by Wes Craven.
Star Tim Curry and Robert Englund.
It would have to be a Fantasy Horror genre, maybe include vampyrs.
Would to contain one hell of a lot of gore, and have a few dark comedy moments.

Quite specific but I reckon it would make a bloody good movie.

WOULD HAVE TO HAVE NO STUPID MORALS.
