Hi everyone-
I'm writing my undergraduate thesis on how American mass consumerism affected French high culture. I am looking into films from the 1950s and 1960s that might provide insight into the positive or negative attitudes of the French towards Americans and American products. The first type of films I thought of were the New Wave films of Trouffaut and Goddard; however, does anyone have any specific films or directors that I should look at?
