Hey
I've seen two movies recently that I've loved, and have watched repeatedly. These are 300, the supernaturally Sparta movie, and the remake of Dawn of the Dead.
One thing I noticed is that both of these are directed by Zack Snyder. I've not heard of this guy. Whatelse has he directed, and is he consistantly good, or were these just lucky shots? Sure I could just look him up on IMDB, but I thought it'd be more interesting to get some huma opinions and maybe spark a discussion.

Those are the only two he's directed to my knowledge, he was linked to the remake of Day Of The Dead, but pulled out to make 300 instead and is one of the directors linked with the upcoming Captain America movie.
Next film, Watchmen, a superhero murder mystery

Next film, Watchmen, a superhero murder mystery

Based on probably THE greatest comic book ever written. Can't see how it will be condensed into one film though. Alan Moore must be spitting fire about now.

Snyder is better than most music video directors making features. As a huge (literally) Dawn of the Dead fan, I was pleasantly surprised by the remake. 300 was visually stunning, although only just saved itself from some seriously B movie moments (such as the pleas to the senate scene)
I hope he learns how to direct actors better, by the time we get to The Watchman
