Everyone likes a good ruck, whether it's a world championship fight or a bust up down the pub, fighting's in a mans blood.

This is a thread about our favourite movie fights scenes, be they fist fights, gun fights or sword fights. This is where you come when you've just had to sit through a chick flick, to let off some steam. That's not to say the ladies aren't welcome to contribute.

What are your favourite types of movie fights?

Here's a few of my faves to get the ball rolling.

Ting Vs All Comers, Ong Bak

Boss & Charley Vs Denton Baxter and his cronies Open Range

Leon Vs The NYPD Leon

I'll be posting more in the next few days, come on people what are your favourite fight scenes of all time, if you can't find a video of it, just describe it to us.

They Live!

As most of you have guessed by now, I like Kung-Fu movies. No, I do, its true. However, whenever anyone mentions movie fight scenes I always think of this. John Carpenter's They Live! isn't the greatest of films, hey, its an ok film at best, you know, on the grand scale of things, but one of the things that have made this film the stuff of legend is this fight scene. It goes on and on and on and on. Plus it has 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper in it. Class!

I actually preferred the Dooku vs Anakin fight from attack of the clones. Something about the look on Anakin's face. The power cord gets cut and it's all dark, all you can see is the color of the light saber's reflecting off of the background...short but excellent

I love the final fight scene in house of flying daggers. After all the way over the top wire-fu and magic throwing knives, they have a brutal, knock down, drag out fight. It's vicious, dirty, and so much more real and intense than the sterile fight scenes I have become so tired of.
