As you may already know, writing is a hobby of mine. Well, if I'm ever going to get filthy stinking rich, I need to get better as a writer. So lately I have been putting a bit more time into improving my skills, and now I have a little writing exercise that requires some outside assistance.

The exercise is pretty simple. I need to write short stories based on ideas given to me by others. Because I'm working with other people's ideas, I will most likely be writing things I wouldn't normally write, improving my range and forcing me to work through things that don't necessarily come naturally to me, which is an essential skill for writing. And of course, just the effort of slogging through stories which I am probably not as enthusiastic about should really help me develop the all important "iron butt" which is required for any serious writing.

The ideas don't have to be anything special, just something I can work with. And if the resulting story isn't total crap (about a 50/50 chance really) I'll post it here for all to see. Plus, when I'm rich, I'll get you something nice.

I think that would depend on how much a kidney goes for these days, and, in my case whether you have any qualms about selling someone a half pickled one.
