Well, yesterday I had a sword go through my hand. That's right, a sword actually went in one side and came out the other. Luckily it didn't do too much damage, and in fact the only reason I don't have full use of my hand is because it hurts like a bastard, and of course because I don't want to risk reopening the wound. This isn't the first stab wound I've had to patch up, (though it's the first time I've done it using only my left hand) and since I heal remarkably fast, I should be good as new in no time.

So, my question is, has anyone else here ever had some cool/weird/crazy injury?
the anomaly
i've been stabbed in attacks several times (thats Scotland for you)

impaled on a fence
broken eye socket (which dislodged my eyeball)
i also got mauled by a pitbull which i swiftly stomped to death

Never had a weird injury myself, but a couple of friends have.

A good mate of mine fell on a garden rake at school, ass first.

And when I was at college I got a summer job at a local bakery, one of the blokes I worked with was seriously double jointed, he could twist his leg 190 degrees at the knee which made it look broken, anyways one boring day (OK every day's boring when you're baking slab cakes 8 hours a day) he knocked over a trolley and pretended he'd broken his leg, much to the amusement of me yet much to the shock of the new girls, one of whom passed out.

I sliced off the tip of my right thumb with my Pampered Chef Ultimate Slice & Grate when I was making dinner a couple years ago. (I was using the V-blade.) That was a fun Saturday night in the emergency room.

Well, that's what he tells everyone anyway.

That's why I'm glad I spent so much time in the hospital as a kid. I don't even bother going to the emergency room, I can do it all myself.

By the way, my hand is doing much better now. Thanks to my ability to heal incredibly fast, the entry wound looks like little more than a paper cut, and the exit wound is almost invisible.

Well, that all depends on what you were shaving, doesn't it?

LOL!

Yeah, I've cut myself shaving too. It was a pretty bad cut. I about passed out. And that was one of the reasons I ended up in the emergency room from slicing off the tip of my thumb; I passed out twice on TexasGuy. Thank goodness one of our friends across the street of that house was a doctor.
