Apparently no one else around here thinks it's at all odd and silly that oxford actually voted on whether or not they regret the founding of America. But I guess it's just me.

Of course, you realize now that the NSA is gonna bug all your phones, right?

I do think it's silly. I'm just not feeling very well today and haven't had the energy to read the article.
They're not gonna bug my phones. And if they do, they'll get bored real quick. OOOOOHHHHHHHH that's different. I guess there's no need to bug your phone now, since you weren't saying "no one cares."

Is that different from admitting that I want them to bug the phones of suspected terrorists?

What amuses me is the blindingly obvious: supposing they officially regretted the founding of America, then what?
Chairman: I say chaps, the results are in, and yes, we DO regret founding America.
*approving cries*
Chairman: Now what?
*muted muttering*
Voice from the Back: Bake sale?

I didn't realise some Oxford dudes founded America, I thought it was 13 colonies (the American revolution isn't my forte, so forgive me if that number is incorrect) who decided they were sick of English taxes and overpriced teabags, so expelled the montrous Brits, who liked to burn folk alive in churches, and created the United States Of America, and as time went by 38 other colonies joined said United States, thus creating the USA.

Hmmm, I know there's a joke there somewhere...
