Well we have Characters, why not scenes...
What scenes from what movies impacted you the best. What sent chills down your spine, What made you jump to your feet and go "YEAH!!!!!", what made you scream and cower, what warmed your heart, and what scenes just stuck to your soul and have never left.

Isn't this pretty much exactly the same as The Tingles... thread? Yep, even the subhead is ...scenes that stole films. Just saying.

hmmm... I guess it kinda is...
I thought the tingles thread was just what gave you the tingles or goosebumps as opposed to just generally memorable scenes....
meh... disregard this thread... reactivate the tingles

A. I thought you were telling me to learn control, which I wasn't going to do.
B. I am SO not a Star Wars nut.
C. I was 11 when Empire Strikes Back came out. That's a long time to remember an obscure quote.

Because lets face it, we can't run anywhere near as fast or far as we once could. Or should I really be talking for myself at this point?

Sorry to stick back to the initial subject but I would say that the best scene of all time is :
- ACTION : Dojo fight in MATRIX ! I know kung-fu ! Show me ! Yeah !
- SPEECH : De Niro / Alpacino face to face in HEAT !
- HORROR : First murder in SCREAM ! I'm making some popcorn !
- LOVE : 4 Weddings and a funeral ! Grant stucks in a cupboard while Lydia and her husband are "celebrating" their wedding !
- FUNNY : Shaollin Soccer ! When they play with a novice team of cheatter and the match ends in a big war !
- END TWIST : The Game ! Definitely ! I was amazed till the end of end credits !

The one that will stick with me until the day I die has to be the opening scene of Star Wars: A New Hope, when the small Rebel blockade runner is being pursued by that huge Star Destroyer. Nothing will ever beat the first time I saw that as a kid.

Like the scene where the clone commandos slaughter the gungans, ewoks, and whiny jedi brats. Well, that would have been a memorable scene...
