What does everyone think about diehard? Was it Bruce Willis' best performance? Honestly, I think the first one was one of the better films of the past 20 years, but the two sequels left much to be desired. Any thoughts?

I liked all of the Die Hard movies. I really like action movies if they're done well and Bruce is a good actor. I agree that the first one was the best.

Although I am a Bruce Willis fan I'm not going to delude myself and say the man is a good actor, popular don't make you good, however his performance in The Sixth Sense was a decent one and his best to date IMO.

^ I thought Willis did a pretty good job in 16 blocks as well, actually.

Frank Miller (aka God) considers Bruce Willis to be the Humphrey Bogart of our generation... hmm, ok, that might be stretching it just a tad, but when he is needed to he can put in a solid performance. Unbreakable is a hell of a movie, underplayed to the extreme. Although, I still say Butch in Pulp Fiction is his best role to date.
