Does anyone else feel that Borat was the funniest film in recent memory? I think it was one of the best films I've seen to date. (Yes, i'm serious.) Honestly, the offensive humor had me rolling on the ground in laughter.

Borat's been on UK tv for about 6 or 7 years and Ali G for nearly 11 years so there was nothing new in the film...it was simply taken to a more extreme level than the tv series had been...but most of the scenes were just copies of stuff he had done before
so from that point of view...while i thought it was funny...i didn't think it was the funniest film i've seen in ages

Yeah, but this achieved much more exposure than any of the other shows. Months after the film, people are still quoting this movie everyday at school.

I can't help myself; I have to ask. This is the second time I've read a reference of yours to school. Is this high school or college?

like i alread said...its been going around for 7 year (on this side of the pond anyway) so its nothing new....
i can understand why its considered funnier in the US because you haven't seen as much of it as the UK has.

I don't think Borat ever gets old, I find Borat absolutely hilarious. I could not stop laughing the entire Borat movie. Definately the funniest movie of the year.

Loved it...It's been a long time since I have laughed as hard as I did while watching that movie.

I'm siding with the majority here - Borat was hysterical.

I liked it, and thought it was one of the best comedies in a year short of great humour.
