I love the Coen brothers, but I was dissapointed by 'Intolerable Cruelty' compared to the rest of their filmsI thought it was pretty poor, I havent had a chance to see 'The Ladykillers' yet and was wondering if anyone had seen it yet and whether or not it was as good as all there films prior to 'Intolerable Cruelty'My favorite films by them are -'The Big Lebowski'
-'Fargo'
-'Blood Simple'
And I really like the rest, anyway I was wondering what others thought of them so thanks and goodbye.

I saw Ladykillers a couple days ago and was really impressed with the movie, though you might find it somewhat "frivolous" when compared to Fargo and The Big Lebowsky. Still, if you like O Brother Where Art Thou, you will definitely like LadyKillers as well.

I didn't think Intolerable Cruelty was terrible or anything, but it was certainly not up to par with their earlier works.

5. Blood Simple - The beginning of all thing things Coen in the world of film.
4. O Brother Where Art Thou? - By far, the second funniest film in the sublimely funny movie genre. Unfortunately, there are only two movies that make up this genre, so far. however, that takes nothing away from the fact that this film wuz bonafide.
3. The Man Who Wasn't There - The story was awesome, Billy Bob was great, James Gand was cool & Scarlett Jo was gorgeous, as usual.
2. Fargo - Yuh.
1. Raising Arizona - By far, the funniest movie in the whole of the sublimely funny-movie genre.
