Have to go with Rocky IV. Without doubt, the trashiest movie ever made but its fantastic. Full of dodgy american MOR rock, but its the sound of my teengage life and I love it.

School of Rock had some great classic rock in it Led Zep etc.. very cool
I like anything with Tarantino/Rodrigues behind it and I also like Forrest gump and trainspotting
Heretic
The Rock has a fantastic soundtrack.

Pretty much anything that John Williams does is brilliant, and as everybody else I like Tarantino soundtracks, including True Romance (the opening theme by Hans Zimmer especially - the same composer that did The Rock).
Coubiak
Hans Zimmer is a really good composer ,and as you Heretic I think that The Rock soundtrack is totaly awesome, but I blame him for always re-use the same recipe ! If you listen to the Gladiator Soundtrack and to the Black Hawk Down soundtrack there are some really similar tracks ! blink.gif
The Mighty Celestial
5. Streets Of Fire - A guilty pleasure, I must admit.

4. Juno - Yeah, I really do like this soundtrack. So, y'know.....
shut up.

3. The Graduate - I've only had one time in my life where an older lady tried to seduce me ( unsuccesfully, I might add). Unfortunately, it was late one night offa North Ave., near downtown Chicago. And I think that she expected either money or drugs in exchange.
At least, I think it was a she. The darkness of the night combined with "her" facial hair really prevented me from making a fair assesment.

2. Saturday Night Fever - You can tell by the way that I use my walk that I'm a woman's man.
No, seriously..... you can.

1. Purple Rain - Y'know, I've been to alot hotels in my time, & I have yet to walk into a lobby that has a girl masturbating with a magazine. Or with my luck, maybe I have, but didn't get there until after security threw her out.
Da Shaman
soundtracks fall into 2 catagories in my opinion, original soundtrack music or compiltaion soundtracks.

My fave original soundtrack is Deep Red/Profondo Russo by Goblin, its a rapid jazztastic experience, although Suspiria and Tenebre come a joint second. I must admit to being a Goblin fanboy.

I am currently hunting for a copy of the Kelly Heroes soundtrack on vinyl, hint hint.

My fave comilation soundtrack is the Judgement Night Soundtrack, although all the tracks were written for the movie it is probbaly one of the most influential soundtracks ever, pitting bands such as the Boo Yaaah Tribe against Faith No More, Slayer and Ice-T etc. Without this kind of crossover I'm sure that bands such as Limp Bizkit would never have arrived at their sound. The trick was stolen again for the Spawn soundtrack with two standout tracks; Metallica vs DJ Spoony - For Whom the Bells Toll and ATR vs Slayer - No Remorse
