The looks are enthralling and it really seems to be a new spin on the idea of TV viewing. No kidding! This “transparent” TV really exists, and it’s from Sony. Look at the screen, it’s like floating…and the speakers, freaking awesome! -------------------- J. Dsilva

That's pretty cool. (IMG:http://www.cinephiliacs.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It'd be neat if they made a desktop-sized version. Bet it'll cost a stupidly high amount of cash, though. Anything considered slightly different or original is automatically triple the price.

It reminds me of the paper thin tv I saw a while back. Makes me wonder how long it will be before those funny, obscene t-shirts I see every once in a while have full motion video.

I dunno, I think a floating TV would freak me out. Especially if it started speaking to you directly. Although, if it was able to do that then perhaps it could have detachable arms and legs so you could get it to cook breakfast and do other general chores around the home whilst you were at work. Ah, but wouldn't that be classed as some sort of slavery? Then they would demand equal rights and to be able to vote, and they weren't granted these wishes they would revolt and we would have robotic revolution on our hands and that wouldn't be such a good thing. We would win though, there is a reason as to why we would make those arms and legs detachable, run away now you freaky robot TV thing. So, no, not such a good idea. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |
